Those are the lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO
4 ) in a pouch format.
Comparing to Li-po they have much better charge-discharge life (about 2000 cycles).
Also they are notorious for overcharge tolerance and higher operating temperatures.
It has way better safety parameters and those one are very difficult to ignite. Comparing to any other Li batteries these batteries extremely safe.
We recommend them for avionics, medical and mission critical applications.
At 4.8mm thickness and 30x37mm footprint, you could fit them in smaller space. Please note, we can do many other sizes.
